Put Founder’s Day & Your Ride on the Apex Calendar

courteous_professional_staffIt is almost Spring here in Apex and across the Triangle. How do we know?  It is Founder’s Day March 1 here in Historic Apex. Now, of course that is a plug for our friends and community.

We all will go to Founder’s Day. We just marked it down. We pay attention to our calendars. Without our smartphones and other e-calendars, we might miss a meeting, a birthday call to Mom, or a conference call. Just like your schedule; the automobile, truck, van, motorcycle, or SUV, needs to be paid attention to as well.

Take a minute after you read this Premier One Automotive blog post article and think about your “main ride”.

Ask yourself these 11 questions as we head to warmer weather:

  • What do the tires look like?
  • When was the last time the vehicle got a tire rotation?
  • When was the last alignment?
  • Has the oil and filter been changed recently?
  • How clean is the air filter and when was it last changed?
  • Are both headlights working and are they aligned?
  • Do the brake lights and parking lights work, or is one burnt out?
  • Are both fog lamps operational?
  • How are the wipers?
  • When was the hood last opened?
  • How old is the battery?

With a fast paced multi-kid two job lifestyle where the home means dinner, it is still important to be safe and sound in your travels around Apex and the Triangle. Being stuck on the new 540 or getting a flat at the wrong time on U.S. 1 or 64 should never add to your already busy schedule. And at $3.29 a gallon for gas, a well- tuned vehicle will give you the best bang for the tank.

Think of it as a vehicle day planner education for your vehicle. Call us today and let us help answer one of those questions. We promise it will be worth the time and effort.
